My sample first paragraph:

Intro
After seeing the exciting summer Olympics in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, we decided it seemed like a great destination. Brazil is located in South America, which is in the southern hemisphere, so this time of year is a great time to visit because it is technically the spring season. Covering almost 50% of South America, Brazil is bordered by Argentina, Paraguay, Uruguay, Bolivia, Peru, Colombia,Venezuela, Guyana, Suriname, French Guiana and the Atlantic Ocean. If you wanted to find it on a map, it is located at 14.2350° S, 51.9253° W . It is near the Equator so the temperature is quite warm and humid,so dressing with this in mind is a great idea. There are so many things to see- there are mountains, rain forests, the jungle and beautiful beaches.Brazil is well-known for exotic animals and plants and the Amazon River.

Body 1

My friend Mary and I took the 13 hour flight to get there from New York. Our flight left at 10 pm, so we were hoping to get some sleep on the way down. The plane had to stop in Venezuela to refuel. Boy, I can't believe how tired you can get from just sitting for so long but we were too excited to sleep! We were able to get a snack there. Thankfully,I knew enough spanish to order some papas fritas (French fries) and jugo de naranja ( orange juice)A few hours later, we arrived and it was really hot when we left the airport. We got a bus to our hotel and checked in. I tried to speak to our driver in Spanish and ask him about things to do but he didn’t understand me. I didn’t know they spoke Portuguese! Guess I should have purchased a portuguese dictionary!

Body #2
After seeing so many pictures of Corcovado in Brazil, we decided to travel there. But first, we had to change our American dollars to Brazilian current called the “Real” I asked the hotel workers how to get “real” money but they kept looking at me funny! It turns out that it is pronounced “hey-ow” so they didn’t know what I meant! My friend Mary and I thought that was hysterical!
We had to take a train to get there from our hotel so we traveled to the Corcovado train station in
Cosme Velho. Corcovado is breathtaking! It took 9 years to build (1922-1931) and it is covered with 6 million tiles. We read that it was 200 steps we had to climb to get to the top. Many complained it was hard to get up there,
so the government decided to install a series of escalators and elevators in 2003 to make it easier. It is 98 ft tall and overlooks the whole city!
  1. Please notice that in the introduction, it covers the geography theme of location and many parts of place.
  2. The body paragraphs show movement, place, region(money) and HEI (Built stepsto reach monument)
